The first thing you need to know about broasted chicken is that you must plan ahead. Making broasted chicken takes time. For the best results, you want your chicken to marinade for 24 hours, so it is important to start the preparation the day before you want to eat. If you don’t have that kind of time, you can shorten the marinading time to as little as one hour. However, the quality of the chicken is much better if you give it the full 24 hours.

Broasted chicken has an insulating layer between it and the oil, so it needs deep frying, unlike fried chicken. Therefore, the broasted chicken is covered with the spice mixture more than once before frying. The coated chicken is added to the deep fryer or air fryer and cooked until golden brown, crispy on the outside and tender. It holds the delicious succulents from the inside.
